East Side of Mickiewicza Street

This view before 1918 shows the east side of Mickiewicza Street directly across from the photo on the west side of the street. The small stores at one time housed dry goods, hardware, shoe repair, ice cream, jewelry, and flour/sugar. Bertha (Tibe) Chrabolowska, Menashe's daughter, hid in the building at the left during World War I.
