West Side of Mickiewicza Street

"Postcard photo" of west side of Mickiewicza Street in Bielsk Podlaski which dates from after 1918. Mickiewicza #73, where part of the Uzycki family lived, is shown at the left of the photo. Just off the photo to the left is Mickiewicza # 69, where Menashe Chrabolowski's family lived. The City Hall spire and the domes of the Russian church appear further up the street. The houses shown in the picture were damaged during World War II and were replaced by mid-rise apartments and a restaurant surrounded by lawns.
