Menashe's Nuclear Family (1899)

This nuclear family photo was taken about eight years before a similar photo posted above. The earlier photo shows Leib Chrabolowski (later Louis Gordon) with a book implying that he was studying for his Bar Mitzvah. Leib’s teacher was likely Boruch Hirsh Chrabolowski’s son Yosel who was standing in the center rear. Larry Iskow provided this image which was photoshopped in Poland before it was published in Bielsk’s local history journal.
